O’Neal Wine & Cheese

On Thursday, October 1, 2009, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) of Jefferson County held a Wine & Cheese gathering from 5 – 7 PM at the home of Joy and Emmet O’Neal in Mountain Brook, AL. Special guest speakers included Juvenile Court Judges Jill Ganus, Alan Summers, retired Judge Vincent Schilleci and Court Referee C.H. Brantley.
The purpose of the Wine & Cheese gathering was to begin to educate people as to 1) CASA’s mission and 2) non-profit status. Guests were updated as to the financial status of the organization based on the Jefferson County Commission’s budget crisis.
